Do you know that most Americans do not watch the news or even read the newspaper?
Huh, my people we are in for the worst of the worst financial meltdown that will destroy this country and many others for a very long time. If you are thirty years old today, unless you live to be eighty years or maybe one hundred years old, you will not see the end of what George Bush has done to this world.
Being fair, there is enough blame to pass around. Do you think the entire Congress should be given their walking papers? So many have already lost everything and when these loose assholes are talking they try to make a joke about it.
Does Obama look happy to you? This man has inherited the worst of the worst ever.
I cannot stress enough how we all should stop spending on unnecessary items. I do understand that we have to spend some for the economy to pick up. But please try and look at it this way. Why spend the little bit you got not knowing how long you will have a job or whether your bank will go bankrupt? Why go out of your way to buy things even from Walmart if you don't need it? It sounds foolish, but when you lose your job it would be funny. Do you think that thousands will be pushing shopping carts next year? Just you wait and see.
I was out in a restaurant for dinner last night. The waiter asked if we wanted pepper sauce. We said yes. He left and never came back. Then the person with me accidentally spilled water on the table while this same waiter was there. He was very polite and said let me get you a towel. Both times he went off to the other end of the restaurant and got engaged in small talk with the other waiters. After half an hour, I walked over and said can we have our bill? He than said "oh I am sorry, towel coming up." When it was time to pay, I added a nickel to the bill as his tip. Maybe he will get the message.
Why are we so spoiled? In a bar, buy a $2.00 drink and the bartender expects a $2.00 tip or more. And what is so funny, there are thousands of fools out there who think it is cool to do that. Idiots, that's what they are, born stupid before stupid has them.
Do you get money out of ATM's not from your own bank and have to pay $3.00 and then your bank charges you another $2.50 service charge? If you do, you too are a fool. Plain stupid, my people.
Once I was with a friend who saw someone with a $1,000 cell phone. The very next day he had one. I asked him what happened to the other one. He said he give it away. This one can do all kinds of stuff you know. I said like what. He said check email, Internet, music, pictures, etc., etc. I said "oh yes, what about the other one you had?" He responded just about the same, but I like this one better. This guy is unemployed and still thinks that things will turn around soon. I can't help than to wonder what soon means to Alfred. Yes, you, Alfred, my friend. Yes you.
My people, only you know what's in your wallet. Only you know that when your are hanging out with a so called buddy, you are six times more broke than your wallet, so why keep spending money like you have diarrhea and you just don't have any control of it?
Save, save, save.
If you don't need a cell phone, use your land line, asshole. If you must be a drunk, destroy your liver at home. If you must dress up like a Christmas tree with an empty wallet, you know there are many thrift shops around. If you must live in a nice place and can't afford it, get a roommate, one with a JOB of course. Only drive if necessary.

People and cell phones
Everywhere you look someone is on a cell phone. You can't even use a public bathroom without hearing someone talking on their cell. My people, what is going on with that? How do you think people got by without them just few years ago? What about at a bar, grocery store, restaurant, or sometimes at an office of a public business, etc, etc? What is wrong with these people? Do you think it was better when we all shared one land line phone in a house? This guy told me he got pulled over by a cop and while the cop was giving him a citation the cop told him to hold on while he took a cell phone call. Have you ever heard of something like that?
What about how they bill? You can't leave a company like AT&T if you are dissatisfied without paying a penalty. If the phone is defective, they replace it with a refurbished one. Is the one you bought brand new really new, or refurbished also? I think most are. What about this minute thing? You pay for incoming and outgoing calls. What about the rollover minutes? Ha, you lose them if you don't use them in a specific time frame. Is that to make sure you use them all up so you won't have anymore to roll over and end up paying extra?
Do you think this is fair? Think about it. What are you really getting with all of the extra Internet stuff without having to pay for it? You name it.
My people, if you don't need a cell phone, please don't get one. Save your money. Do you know someone who has a cell and never uses it? It's just like having a gym card, paying for it monthly, and not using it for years. Huh, my people isn't that just like the big boys on the Hill? Remember, we have been referring to them as wasteful.
Why does just an ordinary person need to be walking down the street talking on a cell phone? Or crossing the street or driving? Have you seen a female driving doing her makeup and and talking on her cell? If this is for some kind of show, stop it. You are considered classless and you could harm yourself or even someone else.
Have you seen Obama walking, not paying attention to where he is going using his blackberry, or talking on his cell? Come on, isn't that a bad example for the young people? People don't do it. For one thing he has security that will make sure he doesn't walk into a running car or a fence.
If you don't need a cell, just don't get one. If you damn well know you will not be going to the gym, don't get a gym card. If you already have a gym card, cancel the damn thing. No one is impressed to know that you have a gym card, or a cell phone that you can't afford. Live within your means my people.
The economy still has yet to hit bottom. We haven't seen anything yet. Save, save, save.
How much food did you waste on Thanksgiving? How much my people? Why put food on your plate that you damn well know you will not eat? Can't you get off your over fat ass and get more if you need to? What is this with all of these half cups of water, juices, beer, and any kind of drinks or canned drinks that are left half full to toss out?
What about not using extra toilet paper if you don't need to? Do you know someone who turned on the water and washed just one or two fingers for a second and then grabbed for about a yard of paper towels to dry off their hands? At least they're not wasting water. I can't figure that one, why even bother?
My people, think twice before you get a cell phone or a gym card. No one is impressed.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all, my people!!!

My friend, in memorial of him I give thanks to my higher power for all of my life. I am very grateful that I got to share such a wonderful friendship with an incredible person like him. My friend Clark, as we all called him, was very loving, kind, understanding, honest, and a very devoted friend. He didn't see different races of people. Once he said to me during a conversation, why is the color of a person such an issue? He just could not understand it. Clark, I think about you all the time, more so because of all that is going on. I know you are one of those in heaven looking down watching every step of the way, praying for only the right thing to happen for all.
Our last Thanksgiving together was in 1999, a few months before God called you to eternity. I am very thankful that we got to break bread together on your last Thanksgiving on this earth.
I believe you have walked in the presence of the Lord in a land for only real
living, as precious in heaven as you were on earth. Your soul has been lifted up to the Lord's place as an angel to watch over all of us.
As you continue to rest in peace forever more, you will always be on the minds of many.

Bailout explained
True Americans divide the bailout. I bet this is what happens behind closed doors in congressional sessions.
Freedom of speech, huh. Be whatever you want, huh. We are in serious trouble my people, real trouble that could take about eighty years to fix if we start today. All this shit about Americans getting by through loopholes leaves us very uneducated and stupid. Not getting a passing grade but being pushed to the next grade level will come back to haunt us for years unknown.

Tickle me Elmo
Is this a true story?
Hopefully this will make everybody laugh.
There is a factory in Northern Minnesota which makes
the Tickle Me Elmo toys. The toy laughs when you tickle it under the arms. Well, Lena is hired at The Tickle Me Elmo factory and she reports for her first day promptly at 8:00 AM.
The next day at 8:45 AM there is a knock at the personnel manager's door. The foreman throws open the door and begins to rant about the new employee.
He complains that she is incredibly slow and the whole line is backing up, putting the entire production line behind schedule.
The personnel manager decides he should see this for himself, so the two men march down to the factory floor. When they get there the line is so backed up that there
are Tickle Me Elmo's all over the factory floor and they're really beginning to pile up.
At the end of the line stands Lena surrounded by mountains of Tickle Me Elmo's. She has a roll of plush red fabric and a huge bag of small marbles.
The two men watch in amazement as she cuts a little piece of fabric, wraps it around two marbles and begins to carefully sew the little package between Elmo's legs.
The personnel manager bursts into laughter. After several minutes of hysterics he pulls himself together and approaches Lena.
'I'm sorry,' he says to her, barely able to keep a straight face, 'but I think you misunderstood the instructions I gave you yesterday...'
'Your job is to give Elmo two test tickles.'

Sad, true and just can't get it
I just got back from the store with a friend. She is living from pay check to pay check. She has four kids and no father to help. While at the store she picked up two cans of chicken broth for 50 cents each. On our way to the cashier she came cross a house brand for 46 cents. She was so happy and returned the 50 cents broth back to the shelf and grabbed the 46 cents broth.
When the cashier scanned the broth, it came up 48 cents each. I quickly reminded my friend that it should be 46 cents, not 48 cents. The cashier was willing to change it to 46 cents. But my friend said "its okay; it's only four cents I am losing, no big deal." This was at Wal-Mart. We then made her second and final stop at Raleys to buy veggies because she does not like Wal-Mart veggies. When we got to the cashier, she was short four cents. She asked me if I had it. I said yes but not to spare. She stood there waiting as if the cashier should let her slide. She said I really need this for Thanksgiving. The cashier said if I had the change I would throw it in, but I just don't have it. "Want to put a potato back?" My friend did and everything was fine.
On the way to drop her off, she said I just don't understand why that cashier didn't just let me slide. I asked her how many customers do you think those stores have a day? She said thousand's, I am sure. I said well do you think if they let only about a hundred slide daily for four cents, how long would they remain in business. Come on, it's just four cents. They make millions. I said yes you are right, it's just four cents and they make millions, but four cents is four cents especially when you don't have it.

We have heard so much about JFK lately, why? Oh, because it is about the time of the year when he was killed. And who do you think killed him? Don't look far. Do you think the guy who spoke Russian did it? Huh.
What about all of the terrible diseases like AIDS, Korean flu, bird flu or African malaria? Where do they come from? Huh. Do you think we as Americans are the most dirty people? Talking about hygiene, what do you think? Have you ever been involved with a potluck dinner at work? I rest my case.
Who do you think is messing up our planet the most? Who has always got a war going, blowing up just because someone does not like our father or the way we dress? What about fossil fuels? Ha, and we are so productive.
Why do we always get a kick out of people with a different accent? Is it because they can at least speak our language English way a lot better than us? They may speak it with an accent, but damn bet if they took an English exam along with many Americans they will score way higher than even some on the hill. I get a lot of people from Malaysia viewing this blog. I bet that most of them speak English better than we do even though it's not their native language.

Do you think if George Washington awoke today, he would understand anything in the sentences we use today? Do you think he would even know what we meant by the word "cool?" What about World War I and World War II? Did America really do what they claim? Remember in most cases the one who claims they won first is always the loser.
Why do we even bother to say we are the number one country in the world? Come on, we can't even run a straight election. Everyone makes up shit about each other and when they get elected, we find out that they are all about about getting there and most of what they said was bird flu shit.
Ask the person you are sitting or standing next to right now how many states are in America? Who is the governor of New York? What does the "W" in George Bush mean? You would think with all that has been going on for the last eight years every American would care enough to know everything about this man that we are blaming endlessly for all of our problems. Oh, I forgot, Sean Hannity is now saying on Fox News Channel it is all Obama's fault. I rest my case.
I think people like Sean Hannity should be fired and put in prison for misleading the world about every almost everything he says. Ask something most recent that we all still have on our minds..like name all of those on the ballet that he or she voted for? Or even what is the present job of McCain and Obama. I rest my case. My people, we are the most stupid, dumbest idiots in the entire world. God bless America. What did Rev. Wright really mean when he said "God damn America?" If he was not a racist, and had said it without hatred, it could mean having people like Sean Hannity and others saying and doing just about anything to miss lead us. We are already very stupid, we don't need any help.
And now they are trying to say Sarah Palin knew that Africa was a continent. I know for sure that chickens are very stupid. I'm not sure about turkeys. I saw the governor of an important state in our country, Alaska, someone who was allowed to run for the second highest office in our country, stand in front of a slaughter house while a turkey was being killed, pardoning the one right in front of her yet she did not think to look to her near left and see a turkey being killed.
We are in trouble my people. This our sweet country is in serious trouble. Do you think that poor turkey was really pardoned or it was all about show? What about maybe it was pardoned from being killed at the slaughter house and she took it home and shot it? You know she enjoys shooting harmless animals.
I am for Obama all the way and we need to give him a chance, but I must say I am still waiting for new faces in Washington like how he promised. Do you think he is having a very, I say very hard time finding educated, intelligent, smart, honest, loyal, hard working Americans anywhere in America who do not think like Washington insiders? Think again.

Sava, save, save!!!
Don't think because you still have a job and everything seems smooth, you are safe from this economic mess. We still have a long way to go. And if you think about it, you are the last person on the minds of the big boys and girls in Washington. Do you think we can believe any one of them? Think again.
They all say one thing and do another. See what Henry Paulson did. He took $700 billion of our money and only helped banks to buy good stocks. All of the bad stocks they created tricking the middle and poor class and the uneducated are now referred to as toxic stocks. Do you think they really care? Even Obama said that it's the fault of the ones who bought those loans and houses.
During the primary campaign Hillary said openly that she didn't think Obama was qualified to run the country. Was she right? I could be wrong, but I don't think he has any hot ideas on how to get us out of this mess.
All of a sudden Hillary and Obama are pissing on the same quilt. Huh. Do you think this is in the best interest of all of us? I hope so. Let's give him a chance. Do you think there are many other companies and small businesses that are barely making it and trying to hold on that we have yet to hear about? You better believe it. It could be the building you are renting. What about your favorite restaurant that you just have to eat at daily because you are too damn lazy to cook? Or your job that you've been at for ten to twenty years? Maybe they just have a few months left?
My people, save, save, save. Gold is doing very well in Nevada right now, but only Elko is making it somewhat. In the next few months, do you think Elko will be able to keep up with the high demand from all who will want to move there because it's one of the few places left with a decent economy?
South Africa has lost a high amount of the gold mine business. They stand at 35 thousand jobs lost just in the mining business. Do you think Elko, Nevada is next, or will it be other mines in our country? You bet yourself.
I talked to a special friend who works at Target about saving and she told me that she has a good job and a nice apartment and she just doesn't see what all of this economic meltdown is about. Well, there are some who will never get it until they are homeless and still might think they are rich. This damn credit card? Huh. If you are still employed or still have your home, do you think you should stop eating out daily or bar drinking daily? Come on, those businesses need to make money to survive, but do you think when you have lost your job, they would feed you and give you drinks for free daily or even once a week? Let's face it, in this terrible economy it's every man for himself. And don't lose your home or apartment. You will become the talk of those businesses for entertainment. Save your money my people. Save, save, save.
Huh, wow, now they are saying even if you are 65 years old you still can get back into the stock market, and even start a 401K because you still have about twenty to thirty more years to live. They have all of the answers. It is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Come on my people, how many do you know who are 60 to 65 years of age that have lost their savings, 401K's, and all or almost every penny they had in the stock market, that will live for even ten to fifteen years longer? Don't do it. They need your money to keep them going. Investigate banks before putting a penny in their hands.

I keep talking about a small African country, Liberia. They also call the land sweet land of liberty. Of course there are fools there too, but those people live off inheritances. Grandparents and parents pass it down. I know many of them who live all over the world that live off their inheritances along the way Save, save, save.
We are not at the bottom of the well yet. Don't think it's even half way. Save, save, save. Don't be like a friend of mine who told me that restaurants and bars need us to spend there to keep them in business. Asshole, your pocketbook needs you to keep your fingers out of it for you to be able to have a pocketbook. Save, save, save.
They are all in it for themselves. Not you. You know one can be a prostitute in so many ways.
They all say one thing and do another. See what Henry Paulson did. He took $700 billion of our money and only helped banks to buy good stocks. All of the bad stocks they created tricking the middle and poor class and the uneducated are now referred to as toxic stocks. Do you think they really care? Even Obama said that it's the fault of the ones who bought those loans and houses.
During the primary campaign Hillary said openly that she didn't think Obama was qualified to run the country. Was she right? I could be wrong, but I don't think he has any hot ideas on how to get us out of this mess.
All of a sudden Hillary and Obama are pissing on the same quilt. Huh. Do you think this is in the best interest of all of us? I hope so. Let's give him a chance. Do you think there are many other companies and small businesses that are barely making it and trying to hold on that we have yet to hear about? You better believe it. It could be the building you are renting. What about your favorite restaurant that you just have to eat at daily because you are too damn lazy to cook? Or your job that you've been at for ten to twenty years? Maybe they just have a few months left?
My people, save, save, save. Gold is doing very well in Nevada right now, but only Elko is making it somewhat. In the next few months, do you think Elko will be able to keep up with the high demand from all who will want to move there because it's one of the few places left with a decent economy?
South Africa has lost a high amount of the gold mine business. They stand at 35 thousand jobs lost just in the mining business. Do you think Elko, Nevada is next, or will it be other mines in our country? You bet yourself.
I talked to a special friend who works at Target about saving and she told me that she has a good job and a nice apartment and she just doesn't see what all of this economic meltdown is about. Well, there are some who will never get it until they are homeless and still might think they are rich. This damn credit card? Huh. If you are still employed or still have your home, do you think you should stop eating out daily or bar drinking daily? Come on, those businesses need to make money to survive, but do you think when you have lost your job, they would feed you and give you drinks for free daily or even once a week? Let's face it, in this terrible economy it's every man for himself. And don't lose your home or apartment. You will become the talk of those businesses for entertainment. Save your money my people. Save, save, save.
Huh, wow, now they are saying even if you are 65 years old you still can get back into the stock market, and even start a 401K because you still have about twenty to thirty more years to live. They have all of the answers. It is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Come on my people, how many do you know who are 60 to 65 years of age that have lost their savings, 401K's, and all or almost every penny they had in the stock market, that will live for even ten to fifteen years longer? Don't do it. They need your money to keep them going. Investigate banks before putting a penny in their hands.

Bailout skit
Saturday Night Live did a "Bailout" skit, which has created some incredible problems for NBC. They have pulled the video and apparently gone after anyone who put the video out there, because the video has all but disappeared off the Internet. It was up on multiple sites and virtually all the copies are gone now. There are a few new "edited" copies on the net. Now, how much power would you have to have to pull something from the entire Internet? This is one of those surviving copies of the edited version, in case anyone missed it.

Sarah Palin taken away, faith
Ted Stevens finally got what was overdue him and on his 85th birthday. What a great present to him from the people of Alaska. The convicted felon is not only going back to Alaska or maybe to jail, and now Sarah Palin can go away. Good, she will not be able to appoint herself to his seat. I was a bit worried that she would have to offer the job to her husband Todd Palin. Oh well, maybe her day will come too in regards to the real truth about Troopergate, the Palin home, and how she gets rid of Alaska public employees in order to employ her yearbook friends. People.

Sarah Palin, go away, please
Why is Sarah Palin hanging around? She had plenty of time to prove herself. Instead all she did was put Obama down and wear $150,000 worth of outfits within less than nine weeks. Now she wants a second chance to say what? Just go away for a while Sarah. Spend some time studying geography. Read, read, read. Spend less time on killing wolves and cooking moose stew. You might be ready in a few years. We Americans are soon to forget. We will give you a second chance, but give us some time to forget a bit. Go away Sarah.
Another example of crooked Nevada judges
This blog has been following the story of crooked Elko Judge Michael Memeo. Well, now here is another example of a no good crooked Nevada judge.
Nevada judge ordered off bench forever.
District Judge Elizabeth Halverson of the Las Vegas area has been permanently removed from the bench due to bizarre behavior. She continually abused her staff with "outbursts of foul language" and she ordered her bailiff to "rub her feet and back."
This is the very thing I was talking about with Judge Memeo, and Elko's Judge Kacin and Judge Puccinelli. Hopefully, they will eventually suffer the same fate as Judge Halverson and be removed from the bench permanently.

Obama , change means???
Did Obama say over and again that we need change? Did he say change was coming? What did he mean by change, bringing change to Washington DC? Did he say McCain was a Washington insider for 36 years? Or did I misunderstand? What about Hillary? Did Obama say she was a part of Washington for 34 years? Did he say that Hillary's experience was tea parties? Come on, what about when she voted for the Iraq War?
Now she has experience to become the next Secretary of State? Come on, wait a minute my people, help me out here, what does change mean to Barrack Obama? Is it someone who has not been a part of the package, or new polices?
Was he saying change before he was elected and at the same time he voted for the $700 billion bailout? Was that confusing, because he was saying that to build the economy you have to build from the bottom up, not the top down? But Nancy Pelosi and John McCain were saying bail out the top and it would trickle down.

Has Obama been talking out of both ends of his mouth?
Most of the people he has chosen are Washington insiders and Clinton Administration retreads, not Washington outsiders. So what did he mean by change? Oh, maybe he meant the way of doing things in Washington. If so what about these bailouts? Let GM, Ford and Chrysler file bankruptcy. If anything, give the money to successful auto manufacturers like Toyota and Nissan and make a deal with them to hire the employees of those three domestic auto makers who have a PHD in failing. That might help save and create jobs.
Obama is the man and I understand that he can't keep all of his promises because of the mess we are in, but do you think change should be of new fresh faces with experience in all areas with different thinking that can bring new ideas without already knowing how the corruption folds in Washington?
All of a sudden, Hillary is this wonderful with foreign policy experience. What about the lie she told about Bosnia? Will she go overseas and not do what she is to do and return with a lie about not just having to duck from missiles, but she actually was on the front line and had to protect soldiers from getting killed? And if the Clintons are so country first, why are they concerned that something is fishy about Bill Clinton's oversea affairs?
I am not saying Obama is not doing things right. But questions, questions. Maybe change means doing things differently. We will see. Obama is the man, let us all work with him.

Your first Christmas card

People, why are we the way we are
I lost an 83 year old distant cousin two years ago. I only met him three years prior to his death. He used to always just say "people." It was always when something happened or was said that he thought was wicked.
Why are we the way we are? Why do we get along much better with others who have so much in common with us and if they are not like us, we refer to them as being different? Or we call them "stupid, off the wall, weird, from another planet," etc, etc. Why do we sometimes say "I know this person. He or she would never do something like that?" Do you really know that person? If you spend every second with someone, do you know that person? Sometimes I hear people say "I know him or her, I even know what he or she will say before they say it." Is that true? Is it possible that you can be having a wonderful conversation with someone, laughing only thinking of good things, and that person could be laughing with you saying nice things too, but at the same time saying to themselves things like "boy what a big mouth he or she has?" Or "My oh my, look at that nose on his or her face. I wonder what makes he or she think they are so hot? I wish he or she would just stop whatever they are doing, etc, etc." Does that mean you have multiple personalities?
Why is it you can have someone say something to you today and in a few weeks you bring that conversation to that person and they do not have any idea what you are talking about? I mean they just can't remember it at all. Do you think this means they are forgetful? And I am not talking about someone who has Alzheimer's. Is it because this person is really more than one person who does not share everything with the other persons within them? Do you think sometimes when someone commits a crime and says they do not remember doing it, it is because they are trying to make people think they are crazy or is it true that they do not really remember? Have you ever done something and just can't believe that you did it? What about a man and wife who are never apart and do everything together, I mean everything? They even do not have problems with going to the bathroom in front of each other. Do you think they know everything about the other person? Really know everything? Have you heard someone say "I know I will regret it but I am going to do it anyway?" What about buying something, and just not remembering where, how or who gave it to you? Do you think this took place when you were someone else, maybe one of your other personalities? When you say things to yourself, is it your conscience speaking blowing off steam or is it one of your other personalities talking? Maybe some personalities share and others do not.
I have so many problems with people who think they are better than others. What about food of different cultures? Have you ever tried other cultures' food and said I really like it? Do you really like it or are you just being polite? Will you ever want to eat that again? Why do people move to other countries and live there for all of their remaining life and still spend a bit more money trying to get the food that they were brought up eating? Is it because they don't like the new country's food or the taste, or is it just because they want to keep their own culture alive? I think we like everybody to be just like us. We may say we like other cultures, but deep down if someone is not like us, something is wrong with that person.
Sometimes you can tell someone something and they say "no you don't really mean that." They might even convince you to think that you don't. But did you or didn't you mean what you said? Isn't there some truth to everything we do or say?
Why do we spend so much time blaming rather than solving a problem? I find myself singing to myself as we would put it. "I don't care how you get here, get here if you can." I don't even know who wrote the song or even if the words are correct, but I am always humming it. Is it really me who likes that song or is it one of my other personalities? Do we all have more than one personality? I don't think so. There are some people who can remember just about everything, even the time, day and exact words from many years ago, and others who can't. Is it because the one with a good memory is only one person or do they do not have multiple personalities within them and the people who can't remember things they have said or done have many personalities within them?
Here's one more. Have you ever said "I can swear I put it right there and now it's not there?" Did you really put it there, or did your other personality put it there and now you don't remember when it was removed? Huh, what about the other way around? so maybe most have more than one person within their mind and just don't know it.
I am coming up with all of this because I am trying to understand the pregnant man's thinking. You know, the guy who was interviewed by Barbara Walters last night. I am a bit confused because he seems to remember everything about his life and knows what he/she did at all times. So is he/she just one person or are there more than one person within his/her body? Remember when I said maybe some personalities share?
My people, I am not disrespecting at all. I am just trying to understand. I do respect him for who he thinks he is. It's tough, huh, but we all should work very hard on understanding each other, and accepting who they are and who we are, just very different in thousands of ways. All in the mind my people, all control by the mind.

Bailout not for toxic loans after all
My people, once again we have been kicked in the rear and told "I can do whatever I want with your money." Henry Paulson told us in the beginning that we needed to bailout Wall Street when most didn't buy it. The story changed to Main Street and if I remember correctly then to credit cards. Huh, the sucker did tell the truth for once and it turns out that the first story that we had thought was a lie was the truth after all. I bet all along he intended to bail out the big boys. If I have this right, Main Street is once again the sole loser here. How can they get away with it? Come on, we have Congress to look out for us, but I don't think that they know their asses from their head. Nancy Pelosi just said a few days ago that we should bail out Ford, GM and Chrysler. Once again she did not do her homework. Huh, but President Bush, the one we all thought was dumb has not agreed to do so. How ironic is that!
Why do they even bother to tell us? They will spend our money any way they want to without our approval. Maybe we all should give them our ATM cards, keep making deposits, but never check the balance. They will manage all of our affairs.
Do you think the end is near? Huh, not even close. The best is yet to come. My people, prepare yourself because we have not seen anything yet. They said in about six months things should be back on track. Now they are saying in four years. Are these fools forgetting that millions have lost their homes, jobs and life saving and may never get them back? Have you heard anything about that group yet? Well lets be real here, they sometimes talked about the homeowners who are about to lose their homes and lose their jobs, but not about the homeless and jobless ones already out there.
My people, our money is being used to buy stock, good stock for banks and to pay large salaries to CEO's and give them big bounces. We have to pay them for destroying so many lives forever. Have these fools thought about the psychological impact of this on millions of Americans and on people around the world? Can't we see that this will take twenty to thirty years to get back to where we were a few years ago? Heck, a lot of us will already be dead by then.
Why are these people are still in control? Why? You mean to tell me that in this the greatest country in the world, we don't have anyone who can manage and run our financial system efficiently with honesty? These people got all of our money, not just sitting on it, but using it as toilet paper. It's kind of surprising that there are no major demonstrations or protests. Oh no, if that happens they would say it is a riot.
So let's just not do anything except keep giving them more of our money. All of the older people on Main Street are almost broke, so lets lower the legal age for
gambling to eighteen. You know, the young people are very involved these days and many have jobs too. Lets take their money too. Do you think that next you will be able to buy liquor at age eighteen just about anywhere in this country? That might be the next step.
The people who are homeless and jobless are often very religious and very close to God. Their churches supposedly care for the entirety of mankind, yet they spend millions of dollars and teach their members to hate and discriminate against a group that was also made in the same image they were made in. Do you think that such churches should not be tax exempt?
So the bottom line is we were lied to from the beginning about this bailout money trickling down. Should affirmative action be eliminated? Of course not. There are still many racist employers and supervisors out there. What about females? They need the protections also even though some of them think they can say and do anything to a male, but when it's about them they yell sexist. Even with an African American president, we need affirmative action even more now because of retaliations and jealousy. There is always something, huh.
The U. S. Postal Service is laying off 40,000 plus employees right before Christmas. Wow, this tells me that the economy is at the lowest because the Post Office is one of the number one hiring institutions in this country. Do you think that Janine Vega of the Elko Postal Service is going to to canned? She threw out parcels and opened mail that was mailed out to someone else because she did not like the sender. Instead, she was demoted to a custodian. Elko, Elko, why are so many crooks in charge there? It's judges, cops, and even the DA's office.
Will taxpayers have to keep bailing out Ford, GM, and Chrysler every few years? You know this is not the first time for Chrysler and if we keep this up it might not be the last. Do you know that GM's CEO said that we do not have the right to tell them how to run their company? Oh well, it's logic again. But they have the right to keep stealing from the middle class. What will they do with those millions of SUV's, trucks and cars that no one is buying? Maybe they should for once give something back. Give it away to the middle class and the poor. It would be over millions of jobs that will be lost if they are not bailed out. Oh well, over a million have already lost their jobs and homes. Nancy Pelosi should bail those people out first. They too are part of the economy.
Do you think we should know who are the shareholders are in these companies that we keep bailing out? Of course we should. Can you go to the bank and not have to tell even whom you are sleeping with?

An eight year old boy shot and killed his father and a tenant in their home. A thirteen year old boy shot and killed a fifteen year old in Elko, Nevada. Just today there was a shooting at a school in Florida. There have been more than 450 murders in Chicago alone this year.
My people, do you still think that guns should not be relegated? This is the reason Obama wants guns to to regulated. It's not to take guns away from us, but rather to try to make sure that guns don't end up in the wrong hands. It could be your loved one's life that comes to a halt because of a gun not being regulated.
Can you imagine what went through the Obamas' heads when they toured the White House, especially the private area? Huh, now a black man and a black woman with black kids get to call it home. Yes, America is a great country. We still have a long way to go, but we will get there someday. Do you think that when the Constitution was written referring to all men being created equal they were referring to other than whites? I doubt it. Third world countries and credit cards
Many third world countries do not have ATM's nor do they accept credit cards. You cannot take plastic to the grocery stores or department stores or even pay a bill with a credit card. Everything is bought and paid for with cash. These people seem to get by just fine. If someone tells you that this is my house or this is my car, be it a $250,000 home or a BMW, they mean it. It was brought and paid for with cash. Therefore they own it outright, and the bank doesn't.
How do they do it? Do you think they live within their means? Do you think they go to a bar everyday for drinks and give bartenders $5.00 to $20.00 tips for a drink that costs the bar about 52 cents? And then they have to put up with the bartender's attitude and have to wait around while they take their own sweet time acting like you are begging them for a drink and most times they get the damn drink wrong?
And don't get drunk there, you are on your own. And you know what is very interesting? The bartender or owner never takes responsibility for serving you the drinks. If anything they get upset at you for you getting drunk in the bar and they spread gossip that you are a drunk. Sometimes they even kick you out and leave you to get hit by a car or whatever. No, those people drink and get drunk, but most of them go home and do it.
My people, look around when you are in bars, how many people from poor countries do you see spending money like it is running water? How many do you know that eat out everyday? How many do you know that live in nice homes and drive nice cars? Do you think these people shop at any other outlet than Walmart and low end places?
What sense does it make to buy more expensive gas for a car that you plan to have no more than four years anyway? Don't go to a shop to have your car washed and detailed weekly for $30 to $50.00. Get off your lazy fat ass and do it yourself. That exercise may help keep you healthy. Do you think it impresses people? Only fools like yourself are impressed by that sort of thing. My people, the smart ones are not.
Another thing I notice about third world countries is that they pass down property from generation to generation. They do not sell off the parents' estates after their death. They use it as an investment or rent it out or lease it. In some small countries like Liberia, most of those people still have property in their families that has been passed down since the beginning of the country, which was in 1846. Do you think that the wealthy in this country like the Kennedy's and Rockefeller's do the same? Why are Americans always so eager to sell and buy something they damn well know they can't afford?
Take a look around your neighborhood, and see where most of them live. Is it some of the best areas around? How you think they get there? Was it spending every dime that comes their way and going to bars and buying drinks for people they don't know? Isn't it silly, but funny when you are sitting in a bar and a stranger comes in and sits next to you and orders a drink and say to the bartender "give him or her one too?" Or they say it's my birthday so send out a round on me. And they keep buying until they are broke. Sometimes they will even say, I am broke now until payday. I have even seen after they are broke, those they kept buying drinks for will move away from them and act like they have never seen them before. Come on, if you can afford it, it's OK, but damn why? Don't you want to someday be able to not have to wait for payday? And if you do, how you think it's going to happen, going to a casino and hoping to win big? Sorry, but I just lost my thoughts.

Happy Veteran's Day
Happy Veteran's Day to the men and women who put their lives on the line to make this our great county safe for all.
It is a very good thing to give credit when credit is due. To all the men and women who put their lives on the line to make Americans safe here and in other parts of the world, I salute you today with heartfelt gratitude. You all did so much for us all. Some even lost their lives. Thanks to you all.
So many families have lost loved ones who went to fight a war somewhere for our safety. So many returned veterans are crippled, mentally disturbed for life, and/or homeless. Too many veterans who served this country are drunks on the corners of streets, or are sleeping under freeway underpasses, or dying of starvation, and they will never know what the American dream is, the same dream that they put their lives on the line for.
My people, why are these soldiers left by the wayside after what they did? Why? One of the things that made me mad with McCain is that he kept saying what he would do for the veterans if he were elected president. This veteran himself has been in some form of power for 36 years. And you know what, he took care of McCain. Is he going to share his ideas with the Obama team? If this man feels and know what it means to be a veteran, why not now? I guess we'll never know.

The late Miriam Makeba
Today Monday, November 10, 2008, we mourn the death of Miriam Makeba.
Dear Miriam, you are surely at the side of God. He must have reserved a special place for you in heaven.
Miriam Makeba has a special place in my heart. I met the great lady once, and she adopted my sister's son, and my cousin played in her band.
On 9 November 2008, she became ill while taking part in a concert organized to support writer Roberto Saviano in his stand against the Camorra, a mafia-like organisation. The concert was being held in Castel Volturno, near Caserta, Italy. Makeba suffered an heart attack a few minutes after her performance, and arrived dead to the "Pineta Grande" hospital (at 23:15 italian time), where it was impossible to revive her. In his condolence message, former South African president Nelson Mandela said it was “fitting that her last moments were spent on a stage, enriching the hearts and lives of others - and again in support of a good cause.”

Another auto bailout his time for Ford & GM
Huh, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, why don't you just tell middle and poor Americans to sign over the little bit they have left to you and Henry Paulson and go jump off a cliff? Can't they see what is happening? Is it a $250 billion bailout that should trickle down? The only down that is very noticeable is CEO's getting big bonuses and going on costly vacations.
Let Ford and GM go out of business. If they had lowered their prices, they would sell more cars. They are in this position because they spent senselessly. They are no different than home owners who thought they could beat the odds when they brought homes they couldn't afford.
What about all of those home owners who have already lost their homes? What about their jobs and their self respect? When will they all be bailed out? This is crazy my people, a complete dump. OK maybe realistically, Reid and Paulson and Lord knows who else have got major stock investments in these companies that we are bailing out. Maybe the public should request to see the list of all of the stockholders in these companies that are being bailed out.
There are restaurants and other small businesses that are going out of business in every neighborhood. Do you see them being bailed out? Obama has promised that they will be able to get loans, but that is not a bailout. It will take us twenty to thirty years to get back to where we were two years ago. Think about it. So many have already lost all of what they own and may never get it back. So many are already too far behind and will never be able to pick up from where they left off. So many will die thinking that they are losers and we are bailing out the big boys and we don't care about anyone else.
I still can't see any real improvement since the $700 billion bailout.What is wrong with me? After they got the money they said it would take time. But before they got the money they said we didn't have time. Do you see any cuts they have made in their spending? They are still hanging out in the most expensive restaurants and driving expensive cars. And just one of their outfits costs enough to pay for most of what middle class and poor Americans have in their closets. How may homes do you think can be saved if the rich people's wardrobes were auctioned off? I bet thousands. Those people are using the hell out of middle class and poor Americans.
I can't wait until they tell us we have to bail out the casinos in Nevada. Oh, let's not forget the whore houses. You know some of those big bosses need that to help them think straight on how to save the economy.

Obama is not the first black president
Let us all consider Barrack Obama as our 44th president of the United States of America and not the first black president. He is president for all of America. I am so sure this is how he feels and I want us all to feel the same way.
During the recently concluded campaign, Obama didn't ever campaign as a "black candidate" and he seldom raised issues specific to black America. That doesn't mean that he is uninterested in issues that are important to black people. What it means is that he is most interested in issues that are important to all Americans, including African Americans, whites, Asians, Hispanics, Native Americans, and if I left out anyone Obama is interested in them too.
When he said in his post election press conference that he intended to be president of all the people, he meant just that. And if intends to be the president of everyone who did not vote for him as well.
Obama is just that kind of guy. He is just the president that we need in this time of crisis when it is imperative to bring the whole country together in order to be able to pass some of the hard choices that we are going to need to make in order to deal with this financial crisis and to deal with the two wars that we are engaged in.
Obama promised everyone at seat at the table, and he fully intends to keep that promise. What a refreshing change that will be after the eight years of hell that we have just gone through.

Does Sarah Palin know that women in all other states are tough too? Does she know that women in Nevada work in mines, and are in the military serving their country just like men? There are female police officers, pilots, and hunters too from many other states or you can say from every state in this country.

Random thoughts
If someone is friends with you and someone else and that someone else mistreats you for no reason and that friend only disapproved in private with you, is that person really your friend?
What if your wife has sex with your best friend? Should you only get rid of the best friend? What about your slutty wife?
Why do gays meet someone on Monday, call them the trick, then on Tuesday they call them the date, on Wednesday the lover, on Thursday the boyfriend, on Friday we are married and on Sunday what an asshole he is? I think because they are people too. Straights do just the same.
Do you think same sex marriage alone in California could save the state from bankruptcy? One in every four gay men would get married at least four times a year. And do you know that they go all the way with flowers, suits, and parties for days with only the best of the best? This is something those so-called fools of California and church leaders need to think about. They should consider economics and not who someone is sleeping with. We all sin almost everyday. Do you think men and women of the cloth sin the most? I do. They spend 99% of their time telling the world what sin is and not to do it. That in itself is a sin because they're doing it and lying about it every time they open their lips on their face.
What about George Bush? Should he be investigated for war crimes? I think so. But he should not be impeached or punished in any way. He did what he thought was best for his country. Come on, we have not had one terrorist attack since 9/11. That is something. He also did the most for Africa with the HIV/Aids crisis in Africa than any other US President. He is in no way good at most he has done. But there is some good in him. At least we know he is not racist. He is the only president in history who has ever had African Americans that in the high office of Secretary of State, Colin Powell and Condy Rice. Maybe he did in a way make way for Obama to become our first African American president. Maybe, it's something to think about.
What is all this talk about Obama's mother in law living in the White House? Come on, she has been her grandkids' baby sitter since their birth. If not her the Obamas will have to get a sitter who they feel comfortable with. Why not Michelle's mother who has been doing the best in their eyes? Why should this even be an issue? Come on my people.
Now that Obama got his dream job, what about all of the millions who are unemployed and homeless? What about their dreams? Do you think he will bring real change? I think so.
Why is so much time being wasted on what kind of dog the Obamas are getting for their daughters? Shouldn't that be a private matter? Shouldn't people be asking constructive questions about real estate, the economy and foreign affairs? I am an animal lover, but come on, let's be for real now. There is a place and time for everything. And now is the time to focus on the economy.
Does Joe Lieberman remind you of a piece of paper on the freeway blowing with the wind? Now he is saying that if the Obama/Biden Administration does not include him he will leave the party. I thought he already did. Or is it just me reading into what isn't really there?
Gays need to understand that if they want to be treated equally, they need to realize that everybody is equal. Do you know that some gays hate and discriminate against other races? Some white gays don't like black gays because they are black or Asian etc, etc, and vice versa. And I am not talking about sexual preferences. I am talking about plain hatred. We all need to like everybody. Not sexually, but we need to treat people the way we ourselves want to be treated.
I thought that Sarah Palin would go away now, but my oh my... How can a governor of a state in the United States of America not know the names of the countries within North America? And Africa is a country? OK, I have talked with some on the streets who think like that, including some who even think you can take a bus from anywhere in the United States to Africa. Some even think that each state has its own moon and sun. But come on, a governor? I believe it because a school teacher who teaches Spanish told me once that San Francisco was not Spanish. And San Jose was a German word. A history teacher told me once that Washington, DC and Washington State were the same state. When people say DC they are referring to where the White House is and Seattle is the main capital. Wow, they don't even know that Olympia is the capital of Washington State. OK, but that was in a bar and he was drunk. But a governor being that empty headed is a major embarrassment to this country. Oh, wait a minute. Maybe she is one of those who got by because she plays sports. Remember back then if you play some form of sports well, you pass every grade without even having to show up in class. And they did say she became a beauty queen to get through college. No wonder she attended quite a few colleges.
Seriously, I am very sorry for her children because of all they have gone through in the past few weeks. I hope they'll be alright. Kids remember and take things to heart that happened during their younger years.

Gay marriage ban happened because of churches' influence
After Prop 8 passed in California, I wonder what happened to "church and state don't mix?" I thought that tax exempt churches were for charitable purposes, and that churches would stay out of politics. What about "judgment is for God alone?"
Given the million of dollars that these churches spent on taking away others' rights, should they have used that to help the millions of home owners who are losing their homes, and the unemployed?
Which Bible are these so called pastors who supported Prop 8 reading? The way I understand it, sin is a sin. Gay, straight, bi or whatever form of sin is a sin. Do these assholes really believe that God would allow someone to be born gay and not love them? What about Down Syndrome, disabled people, autism, blindness, etc, etc? There was a time when people in the above categories were killed at birth because the same so-called Christians thought they were of the devil. Then the Mormons said that blacks could not go to heaven and were not allowed to be a member until they realized that black people would give the shirts off their backs for the pastor to drive a Rolls Royce while they and their family go hungry. Then the Mormons decided that its OK, blacks now can go to heaven. Is it about money? And now they are using the money that some gays members donate to their church to discriminate against them.
Maybe gay sex is a sin. But what about masturbation or oral sex between a man and a woman? What about a man who sodomizes a woman? What about body piercing? What about pastors stealing from church members? What about having sexual relations with member's wives, daughters, and going to whore houses? What about Catholic priests molesting young children? Those are not sins? And if those are sins, why do they allow those sinners them to get married in their churches, yet they want to shut out gays?
Do you think that one way to get these so called Godly people thinking is to boycott their churches? Maybe everyone who disagrees with this should stop going to churches that think that only gay sex is a sin and all other sins are OK. Because that is what they are really saying.
And African Americans should be ashamed of themselves for supporting Prop 8. After all, no one understands segregation as much as African Americans do. Do these fools think anyone wanted to be born gay? The Bible says evil thinking is a sin.
When I look at the lifestyle of some who have said they would vote against same sex marriage because of their religious beliefs, I feel so sorry for them because no religion of the Almighty should be allowed to segregate and hate.
Why do black people always have to be the last to get on board? Why are they always blaming everything on something else or someone else? When will it be that people go with their hearts or true feelings instead of doing what someone else tells them to?
Like what Obama said about his pastor after being in church with him for twenty years , "he's not the person I know." Let me tell you all, your pastors are not always all at fault. Pastors tell you what they think is true, but you should weigh what they say and make up your own minds. Are you a parrot? They are some of the worst sinners on this earth. They will kill, steal, molest and do anything to fill their pocketbooks.
Wake up and smell the coffee, if you voted yes to ban same sex marriage, write a letter to the governor rejecting that. Speak for yourself and stop letting so called pastors live your life for you.
You are taking legal rights from people you love and care about like your children, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, cousins and best of friends. Don't you feel for these people? Do you really think they chose to be gay or lesbian or bi? Love thy neighbor as thyself. Write that letter today.

Mormon Church spends millions to support Prop 8
Mormon Church on Prop 8: We Oppose Civil Rights (But Don't Tell)
The Mormon Church should stand for love, tolerance, and inclusiveness, but instead they have spent millions of dollars in support of Prop 8 in California. If it weren't for the millions that they poured in to the yes on 8 campaign, it probably would have lost.
President-Prophet Monson seems to like "separate but equal," but seems a little touchy when he is called on leading such a campaign. Over the last two weeks, the Courage Campaign Issues Committee has tried to get President-Prophet Monson to stop breaking the Ten Commandments (in this case, number nine, "thou shall not bear false witness") and blackmail. As I wrote last week, the Church has been party to both in countenancing television ads that lie and in allowing a leading Mormon to write letters attempting to blackmail donors to the "No on 8" Campaign.
The Mormon Church should stand for love, tolerance, and inclusiveness, but instead they have spent millions of dollars in support of Prop 8 in California. If it weren't for the millions that they poured in to the yes on 8 campaign, it probably would have lost.

My satisfaction over the historic victory of Barack Obama is tempered by the fact that in California, Prop 8 has apparently narrowly passed. Similar anti gay measures also passed in Florida and Arizona. It is a victory for hatred and bigotry, and those closed minded voters who supported Prop 8 should be ashamed of themselves. Sadly, it is still acceptable to discriminate against GLBT people. It is the last refuge of bigotry in this country.
But listen my people, when it comes to gay rights, change is surely coming. According to exit polls, younger people overwhelmingly rejected Prop 8. It won because of the votes of older people. And of course it is a fact that as time goes by we will have less and less of these older voters with us, and at the same time the younger generation will take over. When that happens, and it won't be long from now, then the last bastion of hate and bigotry in this country will fall and at last gay people will enjoy the full rights that they deserve.
So if you are depressed over the Prop 8 results, cheer up. When it comes to gay rights, change is surely coming. Yes we can!

Today is the day that America makes history
I want to thank all who have spent even a second on my blog so far. It is highly appreciated. Today Obama will become our 44th President of the United States of America. To those of you who haven't voted yet, please do so. It will take many hours in some areas, but don't give up. If you live in a white area there are polling stations one for every 220 people, and in a poor neighborhood one for every 400 people. Because of record breaking participation of voters this year, the system may not be able to handle the amount of activity that we are seeing at the voting machines. Even some votes will not register if the vote is on a computer. But don't let that stop you. Remember that if you are in line when the poll closes, you still have the right to vote.
May God sustain Obama, his sister and their families over the death of their dear grandmother. She was a hero who help make all of this possible.

Russian immigrants and Prop 8
It can't be true that Russian immigrants in California are against same sex marriage, it just can't. Aren't they the ones who came over here because they were treated so badly by their own government, even starving and having no rights? I thought they were one of the smallest minorities in the California area. Do they know that these kids they keep trying to hide behind just don't care whether someone is gay or not or could be gay? Don't they realize that gay students need an education which will make them feel welcome and live a healthy life rather than having to live a lie? You would think that people who have been deprived of equality would understand. Maybe they just want to be on TV. The same applies to many Asians who also support Prop 8. Have they forgotten that not too long ago they were not even allowed to buy a house in this country?

The election is tomorrow
If you haven't voted yet, you need to get out and vote. Obama is the man. Things will be rough, but I am sure he will do his best for us all. As we all know he has worked very hard to prove himself and makes the right choices in almost everything he does. Vote Obama/Biden for the future.
People of Elko, Nevada, vote hell no to Judge Memeo. The man is a complete crook whose place is in prison for stealing, lies, and corruption. Do this for all of the people of Elko County. Vote no to Judge M. Memeo.
People of Sacramento, California, vote yes to Heather Fargo. All you need to do is look around and see how Sacramento has come a long way since she has been mayor. Don't vote for Kevin Johnson because he is black or an ex basketball player. If you do, it would be just like whites who won't vote for Obama because he is considered black. And the basketball player thing is no reason at all.
Was it a major mistake to vote Arnold Schwarzenegger in as governor? He knows it too. He even said in one of his last speeches that he can't wait until his term is over so he can go back to his bed. Vote Heather Fargo because it the right thing to do so she can continue to bring real change to Sacramento City.
Californians, vote no on Prop 8. It is the right thing to do. Gays are people too. And all this nonsense about teaching kids in school that boys can marry boys is beyond my thinking. Don't they realize that some of those kids are gay and need to find themselves just like the straight kids do? Don't they know that it is discrimination? And black pastors need to teach to love all, not just just those who are doing the same things like themselves such as having sex with the female members to hell come Christ. They are stealing from the congregation like those poor members' money is running water. Cheating on the wives and even having the same sex that gays are having with their wives. Over spending on clothes, home and nice fancy cars while the poor members pay for it. Using the church rectory just the same as Bill Clinton used the Oval Office and the cigar thing.
There is nothing in the Bible that says that same sexes should not marry. It is fundamentally wrong to oppose gay marriage. We all need to wake up and smell the coffee. Same sex relationships are not going anywhere and the sooner we deal with it the better it will be for all.
People of Elko, Nevada, vote hell no to Judge Memeo. The man is a complete crook whose place is in prison for stealing, lies, and corruption. Do this for all of the people of Elko County. Vote no to Judge M. Memeo.
People of Sacramento, California, vote yes to Heather Fargo. All you need to do is look around and see how Sacramento has come a long way since she has been mayor. Don't vote for Kevin Johnson because he is black or an ex basketball player. If you do, it would be just like whites who won't vote for Obama because he is considered black. And the basketball player thing is no reason at all.
Was it a major mistake to vote Arnold Schwarzenegger in as governor? He knows it too. He even said in one of his last speeches that he can't wait until his term is over so he can go back to his bed. Vote Heather Fargo because it the right thing to do so she can continue to bring real change to Sacramento City.
Californians, vote no on Prop 8. It is the right thing to do. Gays are people too. And all this nonsense about teaching kids in school that boys can marry boys is beyond my thinking. Lucky Dog....
A friend emailed this to me. I don't have a link.
Isn't that just beautiful?
This proves again how dogs are loyal to their master. They are as good or better than man as a companion.
Lucky Dog....
Anyone who has pets will really like this. You'll like it even if you don't and you may even decide you need one!
Mary and her husband Jim had a dog named 'Lucky.' Lucky was a real character.
Whenever Mary and Jim had company come for a weekend visit they would warn their friends to not leave their luggage open because Lucky would help himself to whatever struck his fancy. Inevitably, someone would forget and something would come up missing.
Mary or Jim would go to Lucky's toy box in the basement and there the treasure would be, amid all of Lucky's other favorite toys. Lucky always stashed his finds in his toy box and he was very particular that his toys stay in the box.
It happened that Mary found out she had breast cancer. Something told her she was going to die of this disease....in fact, she was just sure it was fatal.
She scheduled the double mastectomy, fear riding her shoulders. The night before she was to go to the hospital she cuddled with Lucky. A thought struck her...what would happen to Lucky? Although the three-year-old dog liked Jim, he was Mary's dog through and through. If I die, Lucky will be abandoned, Mary thought. He won't understand that I didn't want to leave him! The thought made her sadder than thinking of her own death.
The double mastectomy was harder on Mary than her doctors had anticipated and Mary was hospitalized for over two weeks. Jim took Lucky for his evening walk faithfully, but the little dog just drooped, whining and miserable.
Finally the day came for Mary to leave the hospital. When she arrived home, Mary was so exhausted she couldn't even make it up the steps to her bedroom. Jim made his wife comfortable on the couch and left her to nap. Lucky stood watching Mary but he didn't come to her when she called. It made Mary sad but sleep soon overcame her and she dozed.
When Mary woke for a second she couldn't understand what was wrong. She couldn't move her head and her body felt heavy and hot. But panic soon gave way to laughter when Mary realized the problem. She was covered, literally blanketed, with every treasure Lucky owned! While she had slept, the sorrowing dog had made trip after trip to the basement bringing his beloved mistress all his favorite things in life. He had covered her with his love.
Mary forgot about dying. Instead she and Lucky began living again, walking further and further together every day. It's been 12 years now and Mary is still cancer-free. Lucky? He still steals treasures and stashes them in his toy box but Mary remains his greatest treasure.
Remember....live every day to the fullest. Each minute is a blessing from God. And never forget....the people who make a difference in our lives are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards .They are the ones that care for us.
If you see someone without a smile today give them one of yours! Live simply. Love seriously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.

Black churches and Proposition 8
Why are so many black churches in California trying to get their members to vote yes on Proposition 8, the anti gay marriage measure? Are these the same pastors who have been pushing about civil rights for all? How come they allow unmarried men and women into the church who have children without being married? Isn't that against the teaching of the Bible also?
What about smoking? I don't see any proposition trying to change the law from allowing smokers to smoke. I don't see any propositions that would stop pastors from stealing millions from the poor black people who give the black church all this money they can't afford to give.
The Bible also teaches that a man and a woman should not get a divorce. Are they going to try to get all who have have children out of wedlock to be banned from society also?
Aren't blacks the ones who were discriminated against for hundreds of years? You would think they would understand more than other group. Life is so funny with many stupid selfish people trying to control and have everyone live with so called Christan views.
If you know any Christan, black or white, who don't sin daily let me know. It's all a bunch of hypocrisy.
