What do Rev Wright and Obama really think about Jews?

Rev Wright, them Jews, but he misspoke. He meant to say "Zionists," not Jews.

Did Obama sound in someway that he did not have strong feelings about Jews in America when he said to a French reporter that America is one of the largest Muslim countries in the world? And the Jews are catching up. Israel should stop building settlements in Gaza and let the Palestinians have the land back. If I am correct, don't you think if one reads between the lines they can get the picture?

Obama attended Rev. Wright's Church for over 20 years. What does that mean?

Obama was criticized for putting his feet up on the desk while speaking on the phone to the Israeli PM. It is a disrespectful in the Middle East to do that. Obama's father was a Muslim. And Obama has some Muslin upbringing. Why did he use that disrespectful gesture?

Could Obama just not care whether someone is a Jew, Muslim, etc., etc. and just wants everybody to get along?

Mixed feelings huh.

We are all one no matter what religion, race or origin. We are the same. Lets get together and stop digging and reaching into every little thing that one says. But maybe we should. The smart ones talk in circles.

I wouldn't give anything to change who I am. Would you? Be proud of who you are at all times and let others be too.

New evidence has emerged revealing the extent of the crackdown by Hamas during and after Israel's war in Gaza last month.

Amnesty International said Hamas forces and militias were involved in a "campaign of abductions, deliberate and unlawful killings, torture and death threats against those they accuse of 'collaborating' with Israel, as well as opponents and critics".

These guys do not play nice. Yet it is very rare that you see any coverage of this sort of thing in the media. It is almost always criticizing Israel all the time, while giving the terrorists in Hamas a pass. So I would like to thank the Guardian and Amnesty International for bringing this to light.

There will never be peace in the Middle East as long as Hamas controls Gaza. The sooner that the international community realizes this the better.

Israel's blockade of Gaza must continue as long as Hamas is in control. All non humanitarian aid to Gaza cannot be allowed under these circumstances.

This video pretty much tells it all. It shows a Hamas rocket launcher located in a school yard that is intended to fire on innocent Israeli citizens . This just goes to show what type of barbarians these people from Hamas are. They place their rockets in places like school yards, mosques, and hospitals. Then they just dare Israel to take out the rocket launchers, and if Israel does, then Hamas claims that Israel is firing at civilians. And much of the international community buys these lies.

But Israel takes great care to avoid civilian casualties, whereas Hamas actually aims their rockets at Israeli civilians.

When is the world ever going to wake up to the atrocities committed by Hamas? Or could it be that the ugly specter of anti-Semitism has raised it's ugly head again? It makes you wonder.

Senate supports Israel’s war against Hamas

I was very gratified to see that the US Senate voted unanimously in a bipartisan manner to support Israel's defensive war against the terrorist organization Hamas.

The U.S. Senate unaminously approved Thursday the decision to support Israel in its war against Hamas.

The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to also approve the decision to support Israel and its actions to defend residents of the south.

I am also confident that when he assumes office in a few days, President Elect Obama and his administration will continue the longstanding bipartisan support for Israel which has existed ever since the Jewish State was founded in 1948 with the strong support of US President Harry Truman. Every president since Truman has continued that support, and it will continue.

The only president to leave the reservation so to speak, is Jimmy Carter, who IMO has been foolish and senile for a long time. You would think that Carter is an ex-president of Hamas, not the US. But leaving Carter aside, and even he supported Israel while he was in office, bipartisan support for the only democracy in the Middle East has been magnanimous.

Hamas terrorists found dead in school strike

Israel is not the villain here. The fault for civilian casualties lies with Hamas and Hamas only.

The IDF reported that two well known Hamas terrorists were among the dead in the IDF strike on a school Tuesday which also killed over 40 civilians. According to the IDF, the terrorists were using the school to fire mortar shells at troops.

The dead Hamas operatives were Imad Abu Askhar and Hassan Abu Askhar. The IDF said, “We face a very delicate situation where the Hamas is using the citizens of Gaza as a protective vest.”

Very few media outlets have reported that Israel bombed that school in Gaza because their intelligence showed that Hamas terrorists were hiding out there. All we hear about are the forty civilian casualties. But those casualties would not have happened if Hamas had not been using the school as a refuge. The blood from those forty civilian casualties is on the hands of Hamas.

What kind of people would actually hide in schools, putting children at risk? Hamas is playing a very sickening game. They place military targets in schools, then when Israel strikes these targets, the world condemns Israel for shooting at civilians.

Yet Israel is doing everything humanly possible to avoid civilians casualties, but when Hamas practices such sinister tactics, there is little that the IDF can do.

Contrast that with the fact that Hamas is actually aiming at civilians when it shoots rockets at Israeli population centers. Yet where is the world outrage over that?

This is just sickening. Hamas uses children as human shields as shown in this video, then when civilians in Gaza get killed the world blames Israel. Go figure.

It appears to show Palestinian militants intentionally dragging Arab children into the line of fire, forcing them to become "martyrs" -- all to garner international sympathy for the Arab cause and censure for Israel.

Wishing the IDF well

Godspeed to the brave soldiers of Israel's IDF who are risking their lives to fight for peace and freedom as I type this. Israel has no choice but to invade Gaza in order to stop terroristic rocket attacks against innocent Israeli civilians carried out by Hamas.

Of course, many of the usual suspects are breathlessly condemning Israel for conducting this defensive operation. Yet, where is the outrage over Hamas' unprovoked rocket attacks?

Israel is not risking the lives of her young soldiers for nothing. In the close quarters of the heavily populated Gaza Strip, multiple casualties are inevitable, even when you are one of the best fighting forces in the world as the IDF is. I hope that everybody can join me in praying for the safety of the IDF, and lets hope that the incursion into Gaza can be both effective and short in duration.

Israel needs to keep up the pressure on Hamas

Violence is the only thing that a terrorist group like Hamas understands. When you have pledged to destroy Israel as Hamas has, then you don't really want to ever negotiate for peace. Hamas doesn't want peace. They want to eliminate Israel and nothing else. And they don't care how many of their own innocent civilians get caught in the crossfire.

Therefore, Israel has no choice but to continue their campaign against Hamas in Gaza. And Israel needs to ignore the false outrage coming from some quarters over civilian deaths in Gaza. Israel has military objectives in Gaza, and unlike Hamas, which purposefully targets civilians, Israel does not. But since Hamas locates military facilities inside of civilian areas, there are going to be civilian casualties.

What kind of a barbarian would actually locate a missile battery in a school? Well, that sort of thing is commonplace in Gaza. The world needs to stand up with one voice and condemn the nefarious tactics employed by Hamas. It's no wonder that Israel has had enough.

I say Godspeed to the brave people of Israel who are fighting for the very survival of their country. Yes, Israel needs to do everything possible to avoid civilian casualties. Just because Hamas targets Israeli civilians doesn't mean that Israel should do the same. And Israeli is not doing that. Yet where is the outrage directed for Hamas, which is totally responsible for this crisis?

It is gratifying to see this statement coming from Obama spokesman David Alelrod.

Well, certainly, the president-elect recognizes the special relationship between United States and Israel. It's an important bond, an important relationship. He's going to honor it … And obviously, this situation has become even more complicated in the last couple of days and weeks. As Hamas began its shelling, Israel responded. But it's something that he's committed to.

So we have another war in the Middle East

This whole situation in the Middle East is very frustrating. Will there ever be and end to the violence there? I don't think so.

It's the same old story. Hamas has been firing rockets into Southern Israel. Israel warned them that if it didn't stop they would have to do something about it. Well, of course it didn't stop so Israel initiated a bombing campaign against the Gaza strip.

Israel says that only legitimate military targets are being bombed. I believe them but the problem is that Gaza has one of the highest population densities in the world. It is not possible to bomb military and government targets in Gaza without causing significant civilian casualties.

So what is Israel to do? They have concluded that they cannot continue to allow rockets to be fired at them. I don't blame them for that. But what about the innocent civilians in Gaza who are being killed and maimed?

I lay the blame for this violence raining down on the people of Gaza squarely at the feet of Hamas. They are firing rockets over an internationally recognized border into a sovereign country, Israel. This is unacceptable, and IMO Israel had no choice but to react as they did.

Israel should use as much restraint as possible in order to avoid civilian casualties, even though many civilians will inevitably be caught in the crossfire. Contrast that with Hamas. They actually target civilians. Yet I see a lot of trumped up outrage over Israel's actions, while at the same time there is nary a mention the many atrocities committed by Hamas.

Hamas must immediately stop firing rockets into Israel. Then Israel must stop it's bombing campaign. And then in the long run Hamas must recognize Israel's right to exist if Hamas is going to be allowed to play a constructive role in the peace process.
