Why is there so much rape going on?

Why is so much rape going on these days and so many prefer to look the other way? It is no disgrace my people to tell that you have been raped or almost got raped. So many little boys, girls, older women and even babies are being raped daily and most are choosing not to mention it. Is it because they are ashamed that it happened to them or their loved ones? Do you think that when someone gets raped something major within leaves them forever? Do they lose cleanliness, self respect and dignity? I think so.

What about the story about Anita Hill and Clarance Thomas? Did you or do you believe her story? I do. Most women will bury stuff like that for years when a man comes on to them like that. Is it because they are made to feel so cheap or like just a piece of meat that can be used or abused anytime by just anyone.

What about married couples? Do you think many men raped their wives? Huh, hell yes, and they are never turned in. What about little girls who are in need of financial help? Or boys? I say to you if you're ever raped or attempted to be raped, tell someone.

Do you know there are men who are keeping under aged boys just to have sex with them anytime they want? Oh, you thought it was just girls. Think again. Like I said in a previous post, there is a man Mollie Wille Bemah who lives in New Jersey who attempted to rape his own mother-in-law and got caught. He is walking around like he is something special and the sad part is so many know about it and are doing nothing to bring him to justice. Do you think his mother-in-law was the first or last woman he tried to abuse or even abused in such a way? Think again. He also tried this with a lady in Oakland, California.

My people, this is an everyday thing that is going on and not enough is being done to stop it.

I have heard men say before, I would love to get raped. What do they mean by that? Do you think these men would rape someone if they got the chance? It's something to thing about, huh......

Who is this Obama man? Why is he where he is today in this world at such a terrible time?

Well maybe he is the savior. Do you think he is doing a good job? I am sure he will not be able to fix everything and may make things get worse, but for such a short time in office he has proved to be on top of things. Of course we all will not agree with him in all he is doing, but isn't it true that one should put their all into what they believe and try to make it work? I disagree with some of what he is doing. But let me tell you I am not expecting him to do everything the way I would do things. Think about it. It would be impossible for him or anyone to please us all. Even God can't.

I think he should go after all of those loose ass greedy assholes who got us into this mess and also cut off all of those who are receiving government help and just blowing it away. Oh well, that may not happen, but he still is doing a great job and we should appreciate him. Lets keep telling him when we think he is on the wrong track. It is okay to support someone and disagree with them.

Rape is an everyday thing in Liberia, West Africa

Why are so many are being raped in Liberia? Is it some kind of witchcraft or is it from the war bringing in so many criminals from other counties? Walking around the downtown capital of Monrovia, Liberia, one can't help to think, "why are there so many foreigners living there." Why are these people there? Who are they really? Let me tell you, some of them could have committed serous crimes elsewhere and are hiding out in Liberia, buying up lots of properties and those who can buy are leasing and getting very wealthy.

Back to the rape thing in Liberia, this has been going on for years since President Tolbert got assassinated in 1980. A story that I can't get out of my mind is when a Liberian man named Mollie Willie Bemah attempted to rape his mother-in-law. Mollie Willie Bemah, now living in Trenton, Newark, New Jersey, USA, attempted to rape his mother-in law. She was a woman who had allowed him and her daughter to live in her home to help them get on their feet. This beautiful, hard working honest devoted mother's life was changed forever when he did that to her.

From what his late wife said, I quote, "she walked into the house hearing her mother yelling help, oh God help, someone please help me." When she ran into the room with three of her best friends who had come to visit with her, there was her husband trying to rape her mother. The rape did not take place, but the lady had a stoke and never recovered from it. She was flown to Oakland, California, USA, where she lived until her death in 1990.

Mr. Bemah's excuse was and still is he was drunk. Was he or is he just a damn low down piece of loose shit that his mother's labor pains were to bring in a terrible human being into this world to cause so much pain? His wife also died an unexplained death, which he had told so many stories about what really happened. But the truth is he beat her. My people, so many of these kinds of men are out there. Do you think that this piece of shit Bemah man should be deported to Liberia for justice to his late mother-in-Law? I do.

Then I keep hearing of so many other raped in this country, a very beautiful rich soil with lots to offer. But why are the men of this beautiful land raping the women on a daily basis and getting away with it. Why?

There is another well known story about a well known man there who smoked marijuana with girls from thirteen years of age up to twenty and had sex with them. Is this a form of rape? Why are these young ladies not telling it to the cops? Is it because they do not want to be known as a rape victim or what? Look young women, the only shame here is your keeping this a secret and allowing this man to do this to so many other young women. Make these men a celebrity. They have destroyed your life. Tell someone. Make it your place to get these baby lovers off the streets.

Mollie Willie Bemah should be behind bars for what he did. He should not be walking the streets and all those who know about this and are keeping it hush hush are just as guilty.

May the soul of his mother-in-law and wife rest in perfect peace forever.

Is Obama for us all, is he?

Remember about midyear last year when Obama said that people who bought houses that they knew they couldn't afford should take some responsibility? He is still saying that. But in the same breath he is saying that we need to save the auto companies and the banks. The CEO's of major banks and auto companies are highly educated and yet they made major mistakes, or was it just greed? Yet Obama thinks it is okay to bail them out for filling their own pockets, yet the poor barely educated people were told they couldn't do it. Is that being for all? Think again.

What do we need the most? A car or a home? Do you think that we need to change our ways of going into debt here in the USA and follow poor counties like Liberia? If one takes you to a house there in Liberia, be it a mansion or a hut, and says "I own this house," they mean it. There are no bank loans and in most cases it's the same with cars.

What about when Obama says if you work hard you can be anything you want? Is that for just the big CEO's and wealthy ones? Their only hard work is stealing from the middle class and the poor. It sure seem that way.

What about the CEO's private planes that he wants them to get rid of? Should he get rid of his too? Of course not. For security reasons it would cost us much more for our president to travel on commercial planes.

And all this about how Mrs. Obama is dressing up and comparing her to Jackie Kennedy. What a bunch of nonsense. When Jackie was the first lady, America and the world were not facing economic problems like today. Mrs. Obama needs to think of the poor women out there who need to cut down on expenses who admire her greatly and want to be like her who will do anything they can to look like her. Of course our first lady should be glamorous at all times, but not at such a price to all of our wives, mothers and daughters.

I am behind Obama one hundred percent and think he is doing his best, but he needs to be for all and not just for the big boys on the hill.

I disagree with the auto bail out.

Rape in Liberia is a reality

So many rapes in Liberia, West Africa, from two year old little girls to women in their eighties are happening. Why? Are the rapists crazy war victims or is there some kind of purpose that we don't know about?

I was in a taxi in Liberia the other day when another passenger was so upset over a two year old girl that that had been raped by a fifty year old man. Even young boys are being raped by well known men who are getting away with it because people do not like to be known as a victim of rape. It is a scary situation that most do not want to be associated with.

I know of a lady who escaped being raped by her own son-in-law. This woman had a stroke and never recovered from it. This man is living in the Trenton, Newark area of New Jersey, and is going on with his life like he is a good person, but let me tell you he is a rapist, wife beater and he even could have killed his wife. Why are we so afraid to talk about these kinds of things? Why are these men getting away with major disgusting crimes like these and we look the other way?

My people, lets say it is not okay to do these things and give our all to help prevent these crimes to our children, women, and sons and daughters. If you know of anyone who has raped a boy, girl, woman or even a young man, turn his ass in. Make them a celebrity. Hopefully they will be brought to justice.

Obama is the right choice for us at this time!

My people, I think I am being a bit misunderstood. So let me correct that. I am for Obama all the way. Nothing has changed. The man has not been in office long enough to blame him for any of the stuff going on now or for that matter for the next nineteen years. All of the stuff that is happening has been coming long before Obama even thought of becoming president. I think he is doing all of what he thinks is right for our country at this time. Of course it may be wrong, but he is trying to fix a seemingly unfixable mess that will go on to our great grandchildren.

However, after saying that, I think it is only fair for me to say if I agree with him or not. It is okay to disagree. Not meaning I am right or wrong, but I should and we all should be able to express our thinking in agreement or disagreement. Lets give him a chance, but still tell it how we see it. He could turn out to be one of the best presidents we had ever had or even the best of best. We will see.

Lets pray for the entire world, not just our country, because we need strength and wisdom to see us get from here to there.

God bless America.

Caterpillars on the rampage in Liberia

http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/africa/01/28/liberia.caterpillars.emergency/

Liberia's president has declared a state of emergency after hordes of ravenous caterpillars infested the country. The African armyworm caterpillar is chewing its way through Liberia's food crops.

Tens of millions of the worm-like larvae have appeared in the northern part of the country, where they are destroying green crops like cabbage and collard greens and contaminating the water supply, Liberian Information Minister Laurance Bropleh told CNN Wednesday from the capital of Monrovia.

This just goes to show that with all of the scientific advances accomplished by mankind, a small little insect can deliver widespread destruction and there is very little that can be done about it. It is very humbling.

Here is hoping that the good people of Liberia can survive this scourge. Hopefully something can be done sort of conducting a massive spraying operation which might do more harm than good. A choice between either this massive invasion of the caterpillars or poisoning the countryside with insecticides that might also be toxic to domestic animals and humans is not a good choice at all.

Have you ever missed a flight?

Hopefully if that happened you didn't carry on like this lady did.

Did you know this? (Good information)

IT SOUNDS EVEN BETTER THAN ON-STAR THAT COSTS $$$.

Keep this handy, it's good to know! And it works in Canada too! This is helpful and FREE!

Here is something you will want to have and use! Still remember when the telephone company charged $1.50 to get a phone number from information? My compliments to Google! Just leave it up to Google to come up with something like this!!! Here's a number worth putting in your cell phone or your home phone speed dial: 1-800-466-4411or 1-800-goog411.

This is an awesome service from Google, and it's free -- great when you are on the road. Don't waste your money on information calls and don't waste your time manually dialing the number.

I am driving along in my car and I need to call a restaurant, doctor, appointment or whatever, and I don't know the number. I hit the speed dial for information that I have programmed. The voice at the other end says, "City." I say, " Garland, Texas." He says, "Business, Name or Type of Service?" I say, "Firewheel Golf Course." He says "Connecting" and Firewheel answers the phone. How great is that? This is nationwide and it is absolutely free!

Aren't you glad that shrub is finally outta there?

Isn't it great to finally have an intelligent president? And we are really going to need one given that shrub and company left us in such as big mess.

Article by Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf

On February 15th the New York Times published an op-ed piece written by Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf concerning the contribution that President Abraham Lincoln made to the history of her country of Liberia. This was one of a series of pieces that the paper printed in recognition of President's Day, which was observed on Monday, February 16th.

Lincoln fought to save the ideals on which the United States was founded and which are inscribed in the Constitution. Liberia’s tribute to Lincoln is to remember that the fight is never done when the war is over; that the words of any constitution are hollow unless they are defended and instilled in everyday life.

The article is a good read and I urge everybody to check it out.

Hamas murder campaign in Gaza exposed

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/feb/13/hamas-gaza-murders-abduction-torture
New evidence has emerged revealing the extent of the crackdown by Hamas during and after Israel's war in Gaza last month.

Amnesty International said Hamas forces and militias were involved in a "campaign of abductions, deliberate and unlawful killings, torture and death threats against those they accuse of 'collaborating' with Israel, as well as opponents and critics".

These guys do not play nice. Yet it is very rare that you see any coverage of this sort of thing in the media. It is almost always criticizing Israel all the time, while giving the terrorists in Hamas a pass. So I would like to thank the Guardian and Amnesty International for bringing this to light.

There will never be peace in the Middle East as long as Hamas controls Gaza. The sooner that the international community realizes this the better.

Israel's blockade of Gaza must continue as long as Hamas is in control. All non humanitarian aid to Gaza cannot be allowed under these circumstances.

Obama should not apologize for Las Vegas quip

Mayor: Obama should apologize for Vegas trips quip

President Obama is right. Fat cat Wall Street bankers should not be going on expensive junkets to Las Vegas on the taxpayer's dime. It's that simple. If they want to finance a trip to Vegas with their own personal funds, that's one thing. But the bailout money that they received from the taxpayers was intended to help free up the credit market so that banks could start loaning out money again. It was not intended to finance business as usual with expensive junkets, private jets, and hefty bonuses.

Americans are really hurting right now. Business in Vegas is down because many ordinary Americans can't afford to go there right now. Plus, God knows that they can't afford to gamble away all of their money at a craps table at one of the casinos. So why should the Wall Street boys be any different?

This is not rocket science. When times are tough, cut back. But I guess that the fat cat bankers didn't get that message.

It is regrettable that many employees of the hospitality industry in Los Vegas have lost their jobs. But that's what happens in a recession. And they are not alone of course. Jobs are being lost everywhere, not just in Las Vegas.

But the mayor of Las Vegas apparently doesn't care about all that. He wants to selfishly put the narrow interests of his city ahead of the greater interests of the American people. It is this type of selfish attitude that we don't need right now during this financial crisis. We are all in this together, and we have all got to sacrifice together. And that includes that Wall Street bankers and casinos and hotels in Las Vegas.

Guest article

This guest article is by Retfireman.
So IF they do everything right, with absolute certainty, making all these "tough decisions" they still have a 30% chance of getting it wrong...then exactly what percentage is it the way they have BEEN doing it? Considering just what this "stimulus" package means and all the pork shoved into it, the massive amount of inflation that will occur because of it and the fact that there is only a 37% approval rating of it, I would think they are in the 80-90 percentile of FAILURE. When the Left accused Bush of using the "Politics of Fear" in order to fight the very real threat of Islamic terrorism, why all of a sudden is it ok for them to use it concerning the crisis Dodd and the other Democrats created with their high risk lending demands of the past few years? Why did this "crisis" only rear it's ugly head AFTER the Democrats took over the Congress in 2006, with them doing NOTHING to prevent it? Why, if it is so important for this to pass, did Obama NOT write it himself, but instead gave it to Pelosi and Reid to write, filling it up with all the Liberal goodies they could like telling a child he can choose anything he wants to at a candy store?

This is leadership? This is "change"? This is "hope"? This is nothing more than a Socialist grab for power no different than what Chavez has been doing for a decade in Venezuela or other Socialists/Marxists have been doing since 1917, and America can only blame itself for opening the door wide in November.

If you have to keep throwing a tantrum every time you get in front of a camera, whining, "I won", then you are not a leader, you are not strong and you have no direction. And just because you won the election, that does not make you the dictator where everyone must fall into lockstep rubber stamping everything you put forth. This is still a nation of laws and pseudo-democracy... so far. However, the way Obama has been acting, the things he has been declaring and stating in recent days leads one to begin to believe he is trying to be the almighty dictator and anyone in opposition will be summarily punished. God help us all.

It is becoming more obvious by the day that many people who voted for Barack Obama are now having second thoughts about him. If this trend continues it should be interesting.

What happened to the "politics of hope?"

He wrote a book called the "Audacity of Hope." Then he made "hope" the cornerstone of his campaign for the presidency. But it didn't take long for president Obama to dump hope and embrace the politics of fear.

But now it doesn't matter. Millions of people have already drunk the kool aid, and now it's too late. We have to take what we can get for the next four years. However, it sure would have been nice if Obama could have held out for hope for at least a while longer. So much for campaign promises. We were told that a new type of politics had arrived in Washington, but it sure looks like the same old politics as usual to me.

Yes, there are plenty of legitimate reasons to have fear. (See yesterday's article.) We are watching the world's economy totally collapse right before our eyes. But at least the president should try to embrace hope. He is our leader, and if he can't encourage us then who can? Nevertheless, he is trying to sell fear as a way to bludgeon Congress into approving that boondoggle that he calls a "stimulus bill." It's already one campaign promise down the drain, and I suspect that even though it's the first it won't be the last.

In 2012 Obama will be forced to run on his record in office. He won't be able to sell us his bill of goods about hope next time. So if he wants a second term he is not getting off to a very good start since he has already stomped on one of his campaign's main themes. If you are an Obama supporter you had better "hope" that "hope" makes a comeback. Or we might all find out by 2012 that Obama is just another politician after all.

Financial meltdown

The world's financial crisis continues unabated, and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. I just heard a commentator at Fox Business Channel say that this crisis will continue for many years to come, and there really isn't anything that policy makers can do to stop it, notwithstanding Obama's so-called "stimulus package."

It is not a stimulus package. It's just pouring $900 billion more down a rat hole. It's too late to turn this economy around and the only realistic recourse that we have left is to just let it run it's course. Governments around the world should be hunkering down and preparing for the inevitable. As times get tougher they will need all of the political capital that they can muster. If they throw billions of dollars at a totally dysfunctional world wide financial system, by the time the real crunch comes in a few months the governments will have little else to do than calling out the riot police.

Massive street demonstrations have been happening all over Europe already, and it will probably spread to the good old USA pretty soon. Americans tend to be stupid docile sheep, but eventually even they will wake up and smell the coffee and realize that the whole world is between a rock and a hard place and there is no getting around it.

At least they had a world war to mitigate the last great depression in the thirties. But I don't think that will work this time. We are already waging at least two multi billion dollar wars, and apparently they have had no stimulative effect on the economy or we wouldn't be in the serious pickle that we are in now. Unemployment is getting worse everyday and most states will soon run out of money in their unemployment insurance funds. This really is the perfect storm. God help us all.

What can the average person do about all of this. IMO, not much except to hoard all of your money (not in a bank that will probably fail) and pray. Maybe the religious fundamentalists are right. Maybe the end of the world as we know it really is at hand.

What is wrong with Blog Explosion?

Blog Explosion has been unreachable for a few days, and now I see that as of today it is back up again. As far as I can tell that site was having problems with it's name servers. It makes me wonder if anyone is really there at BE or has it just been left on autopilot forever?

And this was not the first recent outage. The site has been down on several other occasions recently but this last outage was the longest in duration.

Apparently it has been very difficult lately to get BE to approve new blogs. It can sometimes take weeks or months. And that's a real shame.

If the owners of Blog Explosion are going to continue with the site they need to pay a bit more attention to it. It has been very frustrating lately to have to try to deal with them. I hope that someone from BE can read this and let us know what is going on.

The BE forums are also very dead and it seems like it has been months since anyone officially connected to BE has commented there. Maybe it's time to move on and look for a better run link exchange site. BE just isn't cutting it.

[End of rant.]

Obama to allow CIA renditions to continue

The left is howling like crazy over this one. God forbid that we should actually try to catch terrorists before they get us first. Congratulations to President Obama for using some common sense.
